About the Wahiba Bedouin Evening tour
This evening is about the people of the desert, not dune-bashing. Your driver collects you in Muscat in the afternoon and drives into the Wahiba (Sharqiya) Sands as the light turns gold, to a traditional Bedouin camp where the pace is the desert’s own.
Sit with your hosts for the Arabic coffee ceremony — qahwa with dates — and watch bread baked the traditional way over the fire. As the campfire is lit there are stories of desert life and dinner under the open sky (own expense), and when the fire burns low, some of the darkest, clearest night skies in Arabia.
