Muscat Airport to the city
Muscat International Airport (MCT) is on the western side of the city, near Seeb. Most hotels are 10 to 50 minutes away by car: about 10–15 minutes to Al Mouj, 20–25 minutes to Qurum and 30–40 minutes to Mutrah and old Muscat, depending on traffic.

Your options on arrival
Airport taxis wait outside arrivals, and car hire desks are in the terminal. A pre-booked private transfer means your driver is already waiting when you come out, the vehicle fits your group and luggage, and the plan is agreed before you land — useful late at night, with children, or when you are heading straight on to Nizwa, Jabal Akhdar or Dubai.
